400 SERIES
The 400 Series are hydrogen atmosphere continuous pusher furnaces with a standard maximum operating of 1700°C (3100°F). Special designs are offered for 1850°C (3362°F) and 2200°C (3992°F) applications. These furnaces are available from lab-scale size to fully automated production systems. Designed and constructed for reliable, long-term use the 400A Series utilize high alumina brick and hanging molybdenum grid elements for the standard temperature range. The 400Z Series employs zirconia brick and tungsten rod elements to achieve the higher temperatures. Typical configurations include preheat sections, cooling sections and various optional features offered for specific applications.

500 SERIES
The 500 Series are continuous furnaces designed for either belt furnace or pusher furnace operation. The “humpback” belt furnace design includes a nickel alloy muffle and raised heated section for ultra-low dewpoints in a hydrogen atmosphere. The belt furnaces have a maximum continuous operating temperature of 1150°C (2100°F). The “pusher” furnace design includes a gas-tight case for inert or inert/reducing atmospheres and has a maximum operating temperature of 1550°C (2822°F). All 500 Series furnaces utilize silicon carbide heating elements and either a combined alumina fiber and brick insulation package or only brick.
